To the voters, my supporters, and all concerned citizens of Colorado:

 

I am deeply disheartened by the Colorado Democratic Party’s recent decision to censure my campaign.

This action is unsupported by evidence and only serves as a distraction from the real work that needs to be done. My focus has never been on party infighting, but on the people of Senate District 35, one of the largest and most underrepresented regions in Colorado.

 

For too long, the families, workers, farmers, ranchers, and small business owners in this district have been overlooked. Our communities face real challenges: access to healthcare, crumbling infrastructure, underfunded schools, and jobs that pay too little to support a family. These are the issues I entered this race to address, and no party action will deter me from that mission.

 

I want to be clear: I am still running to represent every person in Senate District 35. My unaffiliated campaign is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a voice. That includes people living in rural and urban communities, young and old, long-time residents and newcomers alike. I will continue to listen, to show up in every corner of the district, and to fight for policies that lift up our communities.

 

Democracy is not served by closed-door decisions or political maneuvering. It is strengthened when leaders are accountable to the people they serve. That is the standard I hold myself to, and it is the approach I will bring to the State Senate.

 

This campaign is about more than one election. It is about building a future where the people of Senate District 35 finally receive the respect, resources, and representation they deserve. I am committed to carrying your voices to the Capitol and ensuring they are heard.
